I’ve spoken about Accepting Love before, during the 30 Days of Affirmations back in January, but today I’m speaking about love a little bit more specifically.

I have been shown such a huge outpouring of love in the last 2 weeks.

I just returned to the United States from South Korea, a return that was pretty unplanned. I had 30 days’ notice, but I was not expecting to change jobs or move for at least 90 days, so I was pretty unprepared. I was returning to the United States with limited funds, and I wasn’t sure of what I was going to do next. I didn’t know where I would stay, how I would get around, anything.

I knew things would work out, they always do, but I had NO idea HOW they would work out.

I tried to be open, have faith, be at ease, and allow things to unfold.

And unfold they did.

An unexpected two-day layover in Colorado led me to reconnect with someone I used to teach with in China. Although we keep in touch through Facebook, we haven’t seen each other in more than 7 years. She drove two hours to pick me up, opened her home to me for two days, then drove two hours to get me back to the airport.

I was given a car to use for free, I just pay for insurance and gas. 

I was given the full use of a house for free.

And I was offered two online teaching positions.

All because I let others know I was in need, and I was open to what came.

Needless to say, I am feeling extremely loved.

These affirmations will hopefully capture that feeling for the future, and remind us that we are all surrounded by so very much love, if we look and are open to it.
