Day 27 - Movement
As much as the meditation world touts stillness, movement is just as important.
We’ve become a pretty sedentary society. We sit, and work. We sit, and watch TV. We sit, and read. We sit, and play video games or phone games. We sit, and have dinner and drinks and conversation with our friends and family.
We sit. A LOT.
Movement is a vital part of life, and a way for us to be healthier, mentally and physically.
So, find a movement activity that you enjoy. A walk on the treadmill while you binge your favorite show. Dancing with your partner or spouse or kids. Yoga with a friend. Swimming while you take time for yourself.
Find a comfortable and safe place to move.
Embrace movement.
