June 27 - Discovery
Walt Whitman, in his poem “Song of Myself,” said,
I am large, I contain multitudes.
As do we all.
Every day, every month, every year, we change and grow. From birth until, hopefully, death.
And every time we change and grow, there is more to discover about ourselves and our world.
Exploring our inner world can lead us to new passions, new aspirations, new goals and dreams. New things to love about ourselves. New things to…be aware of within ourselves.
Let’s stay curious about ourselves. Let’s release the assumption that we have reached our personal limits. Let’s see how far we can go, how far we can grow.
Let’s embrace discovery.
I hope that, for everyone, life is a constant rediscovery of self, and a continuous falling in love with that self.
