August 7 - I Release Self Blame
8/7/20251 min read

Self-blame has a way of clinging to us, but quietly—whispered doubts, old scenes being replayed, asking those questions with no answers. We think, we should’ve known better, we should have done more, should have been different.
“Should have” - those words that carry so much blame - and shame.
Let’s let it go. Let’s put it down.
Let’s recognize that we deserve gentleness.
We deserve forgiveness. We are allowed to grow. We can heal. And we can move forward.
We don’t have to be perfect. We are always worthy of peace.
These affirmations are a soft place to land. To remember how to speak to ourselves kindly.
To release self-blame, and come home to ourselves.
