Resilience carries us through challenges and changes. With it, we know that we can bend and we can rise again.
But sometimes we really don't want to. We don’t want to be strong. We don’t want to keep going. We want to sit down, and just…stop.
That’s normal. And feeling that way doesn’t mean we aren't resilient - it just means we’re human. And tired.
Part of being human is resting when we need to. Taking a break. Taking a breath.
But….
If we aren’t where we want to be, we are obligated to ourselves to get up again. And to move forward again.
We are strong enough to start again. We are courageous enough to move forward. And we’re smart enough to learn from our challenges.
These affirmations are to help us remember our resilience, and to keep going in the direction of our dreams.
